The team finds themselves stranded in the quiet, sunbaked town of Fenk, nestled within the rolling hills of Elazığ, as they desperately evade the relentless pursuit of Orhan’s men. With their escape route blocked and their cover blown, they seek shelter in the remote farmstead of Murtaza Ağa, a notorious figure in the region known for his iron-fisted control over local tenants and a reputation for cruelty and extreme stinginess. Murtaza Ağa, a stern, bearded man with a sharp eye for profit, initially agrees to let them stay but only under the strictest conditions, making it clear that any hint of trouble would result in swift expulsion. Now, the group is left to navigate a precarious existence on the farm, working menial jobs from dawn till dusk to keep themselves fed and out of sight. They labor alongside the other tenants, tending to the overgrown vineyards, repairing crumbling barns, and hauling heavy loads of grain under Murtaza Ağa’s watchful glare. Each day brings new hardships: the sweltering summer heat, the grueling physical work, and the constant threat of discovery by Orhan’s spies. The team’s spirits, already strained by their flight, begin to fray as they endure the landlord’s tyrannical oversight and the monotony of their daily toil.Just as the group reaches a breaking point—feeling trapped, hopeless, and on the verge of losing all hope of escape—they receive a cryptic message delivered by a sympathetic servant. It is from Abdi’s wife, Neriman, a woman they had previously encountered during their time in Elazığ. The message is urgent and alarming: Orhan’s men have learned of their presence in Fenk and are closing in fast, planning to raid Murtaza Ağa’s farm that very night. The group, now faced with an impossible choice between staying and facing capture or fleeing into the unknown, is forced to abandon their meager shelter in a desperate, breathless rush. With only the clothes on their backs and their wits to guide them, they slip out of the farm under cover of darkness, their footsteps echoing through the silent fields as they race toward an uncertain future, pursued by the shadow of Orhan’s vengeance.
